1. Agreement and eligibility
By creating an account, purchasing a membership, or using BeyondAlgos, you agree to these terms and the acceptable use policy. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. If you use the service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.
2. What BeyondAlgos provides
BeyondAlgos provides scenario-based professional practice, learning artifacts, progress records, assessments, and feedback. Features and content may evolve as the service develops. The membership offer shown when you accept an invitation describes the material value available at that time.
BeyondAlgos does not guarantee a senior title, promotion, job, compensation increase, certification acceptance, or other career outcome.
Feedback is educational information, not a representation of how any employer will evaluate you.
3. Accounts
Provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account. Accounts and memberships are personal unless a written team plan says otherwise; do not share access or submission work as your own.
4. Access requests, founding beta, and payment
Submitting a founding-access request does not create an account, begin a membership, guarantee an invitation, collect a payment card, or authorize a charge.
If invited, you use Stripe to verify and store a card before the founding beta begins. Beta access costs $0 and lasts at least 30 days. Card verification does not create a subscription, authorize automatic billing, or convert the beta into paid access. Your bank may display a temporary card-verification authorization; it is not a BeyondAlgos beta charge.
Continuing after the beta is currently offered at $79 per month and requires a separate, explicit confirmation. Before activation, we show the price, billing interval, currency, included services, renewal terms, charge timing, and any applicable taxes. If you confirm, you authorize Stripe to charge the displayed recurring fee until cancellation. If you do not confirm, no paid subscription begins and no charge is made. We may change future pricing with advance notice required by applicable law; a price change will not alter a completed billing period.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel an active membership through billing settings. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and partial periods are not automatically prorated. Refund eligibility is described in the refund policy. Nothing in these terms limits non-waivable rights under applicable law.
6. Educational submissions and feedback
You retain ownership of original content you submit. You grant BeyondAlgos a limited license to store, process, reproduce, and display that content as necessary to provide the service, review your work, protect the platform, and improve product quality.
Do not submit confidential employer material or content you lack the right to use. We may remove prohibited material. We will not publish your submission as a testimonial, marketing example, or attributed case study without permission.
7. AI tools
Unless a scenario explicitly states otherwise, you may use AI-assisted tools. You remain responsible for checking output, respecting third-party terms, protecting confidential information, and accurately representing your reasoning. BeyondAlgos may use automated systems to support formative feedback, but educational assessments may contain errors and should be reviewed critically.
8. Our content and license
BeyondAlgos and its licensors retain rights in the service, scenarios, synthetic systems, designs, rubrics, software, and instructional materials. During active beta or paid access, we grant you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use paid content for personal professional learning.
You may retain your own completed artifacts and feedback for personal use. You may not redistribute scenario materials, answer keys, protected environments, or substantial portions of the service.
9. Service availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, security events, provider outages, and early product changes may affect access. We may add, change, or retire features while preserving the material value of an active beta or paid period where reasonably possible.
10. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address nonpayment, security risk, abuse, legal requirements, harm to others, or material violation of these terms. When practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. You may stop using the service and cancel at any time.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, and accuracy. Scenarios are synthetic educational exercises and must not be treated as instructions for a real employer system without independent professional judgment.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BeyondAlgos will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from use of the service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to BeyondAlgos during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so these limits may not apply to you.
13. General terms
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a reorganization or transfer of the service. Applicable law governs these terms without limiting mandatory consumer protections available where you live.
14. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. Material changes will receive notice when required, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted. Questions may be sent to [email protected].
